Did you start you career in real estate?

As a matter of fact, I did not. I began my career as a staff accountant for the City of New Orleans back in June 2010. After five years of working in this position, my desire to continue a career in accounting started to change.

I started my journey of becoming a real estate agent when a college buddy of mine introduced wholesaling to me. At the time, I didn’t know what wholesaling was or the meaning of it. While learning the basics of wholesaling, my interest in the real estate industry grew more and more. One day, I was talking to one of my co-workers about wholesaling, and venting to him about being stuck in this boring job. His advice to my problem was quite simple. Go get your real estate license.

I was hesitant at first, but he convinced me otherwise. Fast forward to today, I couldn’t be anymore happier with my choice to become a REALTOR®.
